Bathing: Keeps coat healthy and free from dirt, dead skin, fleas and ticks.
Remove dead hair and skin: Grooming allows you to remove dead hair and skin from your dog’s coat.This will not only improve the look of the coat, but will also improve air circulation to the skin. This is especially important during the hot months when it is hot and humid.
Nail trimming/ Dremmiling : Keeps nails from becoming overgrown and keeps dew claw healthy.
Ear cleaning: Discourages growth of parasites and bacteria.Helps Maintain Clean ears, keeping ear infections down.
Shaving paw pads: Keeps pad clean so ice, burs, etc. Don't become embedded.
Dog socializing: Dogs get to socialize with one another becoming more "dog friendly"
Locate parasites: Fleas and other parasites can cause dog allergies. While grooming your dog keep an eye out for fleas and ticks and remove them right away. These parasites can cause other problems for your dog as well. Benefits to good dog grooming.
Special Needs Dogs- Dog Grooming Appointments
Please let us know if your dog is a special need dog. This includes senior dogs, overweight dogs, or dogs with medical problems such as arthritis, hip dyspepsia, or other medical issues that may require special assistance or Time. When you make an appointment please notify us of your pet’s needs. This will help us be prepared.
Fear biters
If your dog is a fear biter, please be honest and let us know ahead of time. Your groomer is trained to handle such cases. However, at times, when a dog is unmanageable the safety of the groomer becomes of paramount importance. In such instances, we reserve the right to turn away a dog client.
Matting
Matted coats can cause a variety of skin & health problems. Matted fur does not allow for air circulation to the skin, causing hot spots, bacterial and fungal infections. Fleas, ticks, maggots and other parasites may be lurking in the coat causing further skin infections. Matted fur also pulls and binds, causing pain to your pet when they move or lay on mats. The skin underneath is usually raw and inflamed. Matted coats will not dry properly and can lead to rotting fur and skin.
Due to matting, your dog’s hair may need to be shaved extremely short to the skin and may show signs of skin irritations and sores due to matting, wet undercoat and dirty coat.
Dogs with Long Coats for example Poodle, Biscon 's, Doodles, Shitz tzus can have have big Fuffy hair up top and still be Matted underneath.
Vaccination Records: To protect the health and well-being of all dogs and cats at Paw and Pamper All Dog Grooming Appointments must have verify proof that your pet is completely up to date on all of his or her shots & vaccinations before your 1st appointment. (in Paper form )
1. The pet's rabies vaccine is up to date (as required by law) unless otherwise discussed.
2. In the event of an emergency, in your absence, you authorize Paws and Pamper,LLC to contact the nearest Veterinarian and authorize the Vet to treat the pet as necessary at your expense.
Shop Pets
Leashes: All dogs must arrive on leash leave on leash,, harness, crate extra.. All Dogs Must Stay On Leash up front on counter their is a dog hook for your convenience to loop your pet too. please keep your pet curbed. no loose dogs in shop. No loose dogs in Owners office
Dogs in office kennel : Please if their is a dog in a kennel. Leave him or her alone this is his or her Safe space.

Credit Card - we will Be holding credit cards on file at time of groom for all Appointments to let things run smoothly for my front desk and not chase for fee’s owed we will be requiring credit cards upfront
Cancellation. 1. Cancellations--We follow the City closures as they pertain to weather. We try to work as long as conditions are not dangerous. If you are unsure, please call us to confirm Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, by the client, requires 48 hours’ notice to waive the FULL appointment fee.
2. In the event of Bad weather, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, the groomer has the discretion to waive the fee within the 24 hour period.
3. No-Shows--It is considered a "no-show" when the client is not available at the scheduled appointment time and does not contact the groomer to cancel or reschedule.
3a. The Office Must Know about your cancellation, Our Booking System Sends out a cancelation text to be valid. No Messages on the Machine for canceling, thank you.
3b. We do not Except Email cancelations. All Phone cancelations Must be done with a Human and receive a cancelation text to be valid. No Messages on the Machine for canceling, thank you.
3c. If you Haven't received a Conformation e mail or text from MoeGo you aren't canceled and are subject to falling under no show Policy and could get charged. Please take every step to rearranging your appointment with the Office.
We reserve the right to received charge the FULL grooming fee due to the loss of revenue caused by a "no-show". Please make every effort to call and cancel or reschedule when possible to avoid such situations.

Saturday's
Require a $35.00 Holding Deposit will be Done. None Refundable. and a credit card will be put on file. If you don't show for your Groom you will be charge your Full Appointment & holding fee, as well as cancellation fee.
Matted Coats Policy Animals with severely matted coats require extra attention. Mats in an animal’s coat
Flea and Tick Policy. In order to keep a flea-free facility, all animals found with fleas will be treated immediately, at owner's expense. Treatment is NOT a long-term preventative and should be followed by client's preferred oral or topical treatment after 24 hours.
Pick up Fee
I ask that you pick up your pet within 30 Min of receiving our call that your pet is ready. We respect your time and assume you respect ours. We do know that “things happen”. and therefore we give you a 30 min. cushion after our phone call to Pick your Fur Baby it's a "During Business hrs " at $ 10.00 After business hrs After 4pm when we are closed $20 we can't fit more clients until you pick up your fur baby.
Re-do policy: Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are unhappy for any reason, and would like something adjusted, I will be happy to make any adjustments when you pick-up your pet from his/her appointment. Once, however, you take your pet home from the appointment, any return visits will be treated as a new appointment and client will be charged a grooming fee of some
Interruptions During Grooming Services
For the safety of the animals being groomed, as well as the Certified professional pet groomer, it is asked that you do not interrupt the groomer during grooming. Every effort will be made to insure your pet is groomed as safely as possible, but an excited pet can be dangerous to continue to work on. After dropping your pet off, please do not stop back in the shop until you have received a phone call from us that your pet is ready. If you have any questions after drop off, please call us. If interrupted, your pet may leave at that time and you will be charged for your groomer’s services
Behavioral issues: We will make every attempt to groom uncooperative pets, but we may not be able to complete grooming on pets that pose a threat to themselves, other pets or our groomers. We reserve the right to decline a return appointment for pets whose behavior makes it unsafe for us to groom them.
Tipping Your Groomer
If you are pleased with the service you have received we encourage you to show your appreciation to your groomer. Although not required, a gratuity is a powerful way to say "I appreciate your work."
