Canine Light Therapy Commonly Called pet laser therapy in Missoula

For years, Equine Light Therapy® and Canine Light Therapy™ have been helping animals stay stronger for competition and recover faster by putting the power of healing in a simple, easy to use tool for everyday treatment. LED light therapy is really a way to help the body heal itself.

How it works

LED light therapy is really a way to help the body heal itself. The lights have specific wavelengths that are absorbed by a photo acceptor, cytochrome c oxidase within the mitochondria of the cell. The energy (photons) from the lights increases the energy within the cell and that speeds up the healing process. The lights must be specific wavelengths and must be delivered at a specific dosage. Using both red and infrared lights is beneficial because the wavelengths are absorbed by different depths of tissue.  Our Equine & Canine Light Therapy Pads use two specific wavelengths that research has shown to dramatically increase the rate of healing. The two wavelengths are in the visible red and near infrared spectrums. The visible red is effective for stimulating acupuncture points, releasing trigger points, treating wounds and infections. The infrared wavelength (not visible), which penetrates deeper, has been shown to be effective in helping heal soft tissue injuries, joints and muscles.

Why it's Called "Gospel" Light therapy

Many people ask why our company is called According to "Gospel"... Our company is named for our horse Gospel Hour who developed a severe case of laminitis after a surgery to repair an old injury in 1999. At that time, we were looking for a way to help Gospel, not begin a business, but as word spread, people started to ask us to help their animal friends and Gospel's light pads became a business.

scouts story

Equine and canine light therapy

 Scout's Story
I adopted Scout at 18 months old, this April he'll be approximately 12 years old. His activity level has slowed some and he is now showing signs of hind end weakness, so I've increased Scout's light therapy to morning and night with use along his spine. As you can see he doesn't mind one bit.  😌 I definitely and highly recommend According to "Gospel"  Equine and Canine Light Therapy pads. Auto shut off after 15 minutes, easy to clean and use and YES, I saw an immediate difference even after 15 minutes. I'm now using it with my other GSD. Amazing! LOVE, LOVE their light therapy pad and always recommending it to friends and family.

Sophie Story

 Sophie's Story
Almost 7 yr old Beagle cross Sophie with hip dyspepsia. Someone is loving her twice a day light therapy sessions! Seeing improvement... Stiffness is shorter in the morning, walking better and starting to use all 4 legs going down stairs instead of flying down them on 3! And we're just starting day 5!

Rosie 's Story

Rosie's Story
Rosie, an 11 year old ex-racing greyhound, loves her light pad therapy.  When she was 10, she fell through some stairs and injured her back badly.  The vet was very worried and did not think she would be able to walk very well after the injury, but encouraged us to look for alternative ways to help Rosie with her issues.  We turned to Equine and Canine Light Therapy because we've seen such wonderful results on several of our friends' horses.  After a few weeks using the light therapy pad, coupled with pain meds, Rosie has made substantial progress in mending her back.  She loves her walks, can jump up on the bed again, and although she still has trouble with her back on occasion, has barely changed her lifestyle at all.  I truly believe that without the light pad therapy, Rosie would not be walking today.

Dawson's Story

Equine and Canine light therapy

 Dawson's Story
"Dawson is a five pound, approx 13 year old toy poodle, rescued from a puppymiller about four years ago. He has luxating patellas and an ACL injury, but is not a candidate for surgery. We use the light daily on him and it has made such a difference, especially in combination with his acupuncture and massage therapies.
At one time, he wasn't using his right rear leg consistently and now he is.
We love this product.”

A Pony's Story

My pony smiled the first time we put these on his feet. This has saved him. He has now successfully weaned off his Bute and no longer needs his Soft Ride boots to walk around. We expect him to return to work (as a leadline pony) in June. So grateful!
He has cushings and is laminitic, he had a flare up this winter during the cold weather and was not recovering. Radiographs had actually improved from previous years but he was in so much pain he could barely walk even in Soft Ride boots. He has improved so much since we've started treating him with your light therapy pads. Thank you!

Amy's Story

Amy's Story
Several years ago my Preliminary horse bowed both front tendons on a muddy cross country course.  The vet's words were, "I am very concerned about this injury.  It could possibly be career ending."
Obviously I was devastated and I was committed to giving this horse the best recovery possible.
I began using the Equine Light Therapy pad twice a day on both legs.  Along with a very strategic turnout schedule and a slow, progressive conditioning program, in a year he was competing again!  And in just over a year he was back at the Preliminary level.  I truly believe he would never have made such an astounding recovery without the light therapy pad.  He returned to competition better than ever!   Now, when I feel his tendons, I can't even tell he bowed!   Totally amazing!
